Article Processing Charges (APC's)

The IOASD Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences follows a transparent and author-friendly publication policy. The journal is committed to supporting open-access scholarly communication while maintaining high standards of editorial quality and peer review integrity.

Submission and Peer Review
IOASDJMPS does not charge any fee for manuscript submission. Authors may submit their research articles without any initial payment or registration cost.

The journal also provides the following services free of charge during the evaluation stage:

·       Initial editorial assessment

·       Plagiarism and similarity checking

·       Peer review process

·       Reviewer evaluation process

·       Editorial communication and manuscript handling

All submitted manuscripts are evaluated strictly on the basis of originality, academic merit, scientific quality, and relevance to the journal scope.

Article Processing Charges
An Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following successful peer review and editorial approval.

The APC supports various publication and maintenance services, including:

·       DOI registration and maintenance

·       Professional typesetting and formatting

·       Copyediting and proofreading

·       Online hosting and publication

·       Long-term digital preservation and archiving

·       Metadata preparation for indexing and discovery services

APC Amount

·       For authors based in India, the APC is ₹3000 INR.

·       For international authors, the APC is $50 USD.

Payment is required only after the manuscript receives final acceptance from the editorial office.

Waiver and Discount Policy
The journal recognizes that some researchers may have limited access to research funding. Partial discounts or full APC waivers may therefore be considered in special cases, including:

·       Authors from economically developing countries

·       Researchers with genuine financial limitations

·       Early-career scholars without institutional support

·       Invited manuscripts and selected academic contributions

Requests for waivers or discounts should be communicated during the manuscript submission process.

Refund Policy
Once the publication process has commenced, including DOI assignment, copyediting, formatting, or production processing, the APC is generally non-refundable.

Refunds may only be considered if publication cannot proceed due to an administrative or technical issue attributable to the journal.

Additional Charges
IOASDJMPS does not impose separate charges for page limits, colour figures, tables, supplementary files, or peer review services. No hidden publication fees are charged beyond the stated APC.

Optional Print Copy Charges
Authors who wish to receive printed copies of their published article may request them separately.

·       Indian Authors: ₹1500 INR

·       International Authors: $25 USD

Editorial Independence
Payment of APCs does not influence the editorial or peer review process. Publication decisions are made independently based on reviewer comments, scientific quality, ethical standards, and editorial evaluation.
